About Scarlett

Hi there! Let me introduce myself. My name is Scarlett and I love to quilt! Actually, I pretty much love sewing of any kind – by machine. I started out making a “diaper bag” for my favorite doll, Maria, when I was eight years old. In junior high, I took a sewing class so Mom would let me use her sewing machine. My love of sewing only grew over the years. I took my first quilt class in 1998 and was hooked! In 2001, I joined the local quilt guild. In 2009, a friend asked if I would be interested in becoming her apprentice and learning how to use her longarm. Yes, please! Once I did that first quilt, I KNEW what I wanted to do when I grew up…lol I quilted on her 26″ Gammill for six years, once a month, and having to finish whatever I started in one day. In 2015, I got my first used quilting machine and have upgraded almost every year since then. I now have one 18″ machine and one 21″ machine that are computerized. Custom quilting is what I really like to do and want to hone that skill. I do edge to edge (e2e) quilting starting at 2 cents per sq inch and custom quilting starts at 2.5 cents per square inch. I offer trimming and binding services as well. Let me know if I can quilt your treasure!
